Sanjana Iyer

I'm currently a predoctoral economics researcher at the Ellison Institute of Technology in Oxford, Larry Ellison's new research lab. I work on two areas: the economic implications of AI and robotics, and the economics of longevity and ageing. Before this I graduated with a BSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the LSE. I am interested in sociotechnical challenges and the economic, policy and societal implications of emerging and disruptive technologies.

I love learning different dance styles, trying new wine and dogs. My favourite film is The Bee Movie. I also like to write personal essays and pieces about economics and technology on my Substack, and co-host a bi-weekly podcast on culture, media and philosophy called Zeitgeist.
